A big thankyou to you all for the fantastic turnout to support and join the parade and service today. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Army Cadets and Air Cadets (2387 Squadron) both based at Thornbury for their participation. A special mention to the 2387 ATC band who were amazing despite only having formed a year ago.
Thanks too to the veterans and Scouting associations who joined us and Pudsey Police for managing the road closures. A big thankyou to Paul Ayers Vicar of Pudsey St.Lawrence, members of the church and congregation for the Remembrance service at both the Parish Church and the Cenotaph. Steve, Chris, Mark and Sam for manning the PA and managing the carpark. Mick Pearce for being our superstar parade marshall, and our two buglers. Branch President Danny Dance, the Deputy Lord Lieutenant, local councillors, presiding member of Parliament the Rt Hon Stuart Andrew MP and everyone that laid a wreath at the Cenotaph. Last but not least the hardworking members of the Pudsey & Farsley Royal British Legion Branch that do so much to help this event happen. And a final thank you to the Branch standard bearer Liz Phizackerley-Sugden who not only organises the Parade but leads the march as well.
