Air Test
Took off from RAF Polebrook at 17:00
Delivered RAF (AN534) as part of Lend-Lease via Gander to 90 Squadron ([WP-E) Polebrook 14-Apr-41. Crashed on test flight take-off at Polebrook. Suffered severe turbulence with damage starboard wing and crashed Wilbarston, near Corby, Northamptonshire. Aircraft salvaged. (B-17 Master Log - Dave Osborne)
